After the rubbish AWARD annual the previous year I was amazed to be asked to do this one. It was hugely popular
Widely regarded as the most despised of all the AWARD Annuals. The concept was 'Free presentation case with issue one'. I wanted to do it as a book that looked like a stack of magazines but was overruled. Still, it's a record of sorts.
Most people with kids have written a kids book. I managed to take it one step further and got mine published. Well, when I say 'published' I mean 'self-published'. And when I say 'got mine' I mean 'paid for myself'. Still it's bloomin' good. Even if I say so myself.
This collection of logos is interesting because most of them weren't used.
Remember these guys? Well that makes you about as old as me. Despite the age, this was a great campaign. The Glue Society gave me carte blanche to create the packs used in the TVCs and OOH. We shot their expressions and I had to mock the cereals up myself. They stank.
